On May 19th and 26th we'll have a race and safety Officer training.

This will be focus on how to operate the safety boat, approaching capsized boat, how to to set a race course based on wind, number of boats or classes, etc.

Making sure you understand all specification of your roles (Race vs Safety) and be ready for helping the racing/cruising season.

It is necessary for the race officer to have you Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) with you at all the time while on the safety boat.

Masts are required to be lowered by Nov 30th, for the safety of yours and other member boats. Also with the approaching winter winds please ensure your boat / trailer are secured. Chock your wheels to avoid rolling into a neighbors boat, and tighten down your winter cover to prevent "critters" from making a home

This is the time where we advance the start time for the race.
